Personality:
Simon and Amber are never one with out the other. They do stereotypical things like finish each other sentences, order for the other at restaurant, and share absolutely everything. They are very private people, closest to only each other. They prefer to keep small groups of friends, only one or two at a time. If one sibling dislikes someone, the other will avoid them on principle. This doesn't apply to significant others, as neither ever likes the other's person of interest. Any enemies have both Simon and Amber against them. Both are highly interested in members of the opposite sex. However, they remain mostly unattached because neither twin really believes their is someone who can compare to the other.
Separate they would probably be tolerable, but together they are a sinister force. When under supervision they can behave like perfect angels. They dress nicely, know the answers for class, and are always on their best behavior when they're being watched. But as soon as the authority has looked away, they become incredibly efficient trouble makers. It's much easier to blame someone else if no one sees you doing it. Simon is much bolder than his sister. Amber will always wait for no one too be looking. Simon occasionally does things when someone might see,but not very often. Neither of them are fond of taking the credit for any of their schemes. Even plans with good endings, they prefer it to be unknown that they were involved.

History:
Simon and Amber Katz were born on a very rainy Ides of March exactly two minuets and nineteen seconds apart. Since birth they have been together almost constantly. They never wanted to have separate rooms growing up and threw fits if they were placed in to separate classes. They never developed unique personalities, but Simon did develop traits as the leader of the twins. Amber would never ague with anything her brother wanted to do.
Over all their youngest years were uneventful.Their mother was an attorney and their father was involved in politics. Raising the twins fell to their mother's sister Aunt Sara, who was very fond of the twin. She never believed that they could do any wrong. They could literally get away with murder. All the messes they made and all the trouble they got in to was quickly blamed on the other kids in the neighborhood.
The twins had just started Junior High when their parents were killed in a tragic airplane crash. Aunt Sara assumed full legal guardianship over the twins. The twins went from misbehaving to even worse: stealing, vandalism, more stealing. Aunt Sarah found them difficult to live with, to the point that she chose to send them to Yen Sid Academy to get some space from them.

Writing Sample:
Simon tossed a copy the course catalogue to his sister. "I'm thinking Shakespeare. We'd be awesome in Twelfth Night." He glanced through the rest of English courses. Creative Writing would probably be her vote, but that just seemed lame. British or American Literature? Neither of them were that in to reading. Journalism was going to be dead soon anyway, Science Fiction and Fantasy Liteturature? What did they look like nerd to anyone? "Oh… what about Women's literature…."
"No, Simon." Amber rolled her eyes. "They don't mean dirty magazines. How would you feel about learning Mandarin Chinese? I love take-out." He shrugged, she took that to mean a yes and added it to their list. "Oh! Lets take Musical Theatre! That sounds… fun right? We can totally sing, they always need boys for plays or whatever right? We could take Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, and Drama."
"Oh, hey, then we could totally get in to Juilliard." He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm as his sister giggled about their imaginary interest in the dramatic arts. "What exactly do you think Adventure Class is?"
She smirked trying to imagine her brother in an Adventure Class. "It sounds like glorified boy scouts. We could take Photography. That seems like an easy class…. You know what sounds better. Cookies."
"Agreed. Class Schedules can wait." Simon tossed the second course catalogue at his little sister, jumping up off the bed with a quick motion towards the door. "I'll beat you there…"
