Personality: Kenneth is as old fashoined as they come. He was raised to cherish his family and is dedicated to protect them. When it comes to Keith, Ken wants what's best for him but he cant help but treat him like a child sometimes. Like helping him cut his meat Because he's afraid Keith might cut himself.
Kenneth is a little old school when it comes to technology and most things. He enjoys reading the paper instead of watching the news. He still believes in the old school family virtues.
History:
Kenneth Douglas had the family any sane man would envy. He had a loving wife who took excellent care of his bright and respectful children. Kenneth worked as the manager of a factory and made a decent living. He always made sure to give enough of his time to his family and was on his way back from visiting his parents when the unthinkable happend.
Ken was driving when the accident occurred and there isn't a day in his life where he thinks of what he could have done to prevent the accident or atleast how he could have helped Keith. All he could do was scream for help, he wasn't a doctor and had no clue of what the proper first aid response was. So while Keith bled out all Ken to do was frantically beg for someone to help.
Ken knows he can't blame himself but he can't help but wish he had done something different. Things could have been worse though, they could have lost Keith in that accident and Ken was grateful that his son was still alive.
Kenneth only wants the best for his son and wants to prepare him for when he and Kathleen can't be there to take care of him. That's why he found Keith a job at Yensid. Not only could he be watched after but he could also learn how to not depend on his parents. Kenneth of course is constantly calling the school to check up on how his son is doing and when he heard about the family carnival Ken told the family to pack their bags and they headed to New Hampshire to see Keith.
