[Shego Romero]

The steady bass of a song pulsed through out the high walls of the gym, echoing of the roof and swirling around the teenager standing on the court. Clad in her favorite--you guessed it--green tank top and black soffee's, accesorized with very fashionable green leg warmers, Shego's body pulsed and swayed with the music, each step and pump of her arms perfect synchronized with the beat. Occasionally she would stumble over a note and sat beside her portable radio, jotting notes and continual tidbits of choreography in a spiral notebook.

Standing up again, she hit the playback button on her radio, and the song started over. Her arms crossed gracefully in front of her as the first notes of a piano trickled out of the speaker. Suddenly the radio began belting out a fast-paced melody that Shego matched effortlessly with kicks, steps, and hand motions. Her body gyrated sensually but elegantly, a rare commodity for her. Her countenance was serious, focused, as she worked on getting the moves down. Sweat glistened on her forehead from her strenuous practice. When the song ended, she sat down again and took more notes, scratching out old steps and replacing them. She read over the notes she had made, chewing on her pen.

"If I add a step-ball-change here, then..." Then only time Shego was ever this serious was when it came to dancing. And fencing, but that was kindergarten stuff. She took a sip of her water, and quickly began working on a new routine, taking slow steps forward and letting her fist arch over her hand and open, as if she was letting something go. She tried the same step to music, and was pleased with the results. She looked at the clock on the wall that somehow miraculously escaped damage from gym class to gym class. It would be awhile before anyone had use for the gym. She was about to begin practicing again when she felt the warm burn of eyes on her.

A soft purr rumbled in her throat she hit the "play" button for a third time, dancing out one of her most difficult routines. If she was going to have an audience, they might as well be thoroughly entertained.

At the end of the song, Shego slid the tips of her fingers up her long, shapely right leg, arched her torso to the other side, slid her hands down her left leg, and ended on the last note of the song in a split, her forehead resting on her knee and her hands extended to grasp her ankle. She looked up, her dark hair framing her face. "I know you're here. So you might was well come on out," she trilled.

Goliath was just sitting behind the bleachers doing his English homework. He growled under his breath as music began to cut in and out because some girl was practicing or dancing or something. He growled louder as she kept working and he tried to work but then he finally got called out. He stood up and slammed his bag down and walked out.

"Hello Shego."

Goliath growled trying to intimidate her. He knew all about Shego because of Kim. He had heard all about the shirt incident and he also heard that she was rooming with Demona. That was a bad thing. He just clenched his fists but tried to smile at her.

"What do you want Shego? I am trying to do my homework and your bothering me."

He just sighed. He wasn't normally this rude to a woman but he really didn't like her. She was a skank and was going to even further corrupt his past love even further. He just walked away and sat on the bleachers and groaned to himself and just waited for the verbal assault.

[Shego Romero]

Shego was put off by the guy's sudden coldness. She usually gave people a reason to hate her, but as far as she knew, she'd hadn't given this guy a reason...yet. She put her hand on her hip, gathering her hair in one hand and draping it over her right shoulder, an irritated habit of hers.

She knew what he was trying to do at once, but his monster-level mouth-breathing didn't phase her in the slightest. She'd had men bigger than him on their knees begging for mercy more than once. She smiled perversely and bit her lower lip at the thought.

Scanning tracks on her radio, she skipped songs until she found a soft piano piece. It wasn't typically her style, but it ironically fit the lightning-laced mood between them.. She walked toward him and stood just in front of him, hand still perched on her hip. He was much taller than she was and towered over her, but she just smiled up at him, angled so that all of her curves were noticeable. She wasn't ready to be pissed off just yet.

"I'm bothering you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. She slid a slender hand over his broad shoulder and smiled seductively. She wasn't just holding the apple of temptation, she was the apple. And she knew it. She doubted her techniques would work on him, his obvious dislike of her duly noted. And even if he didn't respond to her come ons, she could have a little fun with him before she got really mad.

"Look, big boy, I don't know what your deal is, but I'm sure I can fix it for you," she purred softly, hooking a finger under his chin and letting it slide away.

[Goliath Coldan]

Goliath just glared down at the essentially sexy woman in front of him compleatly unfazed. His hatred burned brightly for her like 100 suns at high noon. As she slid her finger under his chin he grabbed her hand hard and threw it away from him. He was in the mood for a fight. He was in the mood for a win. He clenched his fists.

"I know your track record with boys Shego. You use them as your toys and then toss them aside when your done with them. You are petty and spoiled. You attacked my friend Kim over a damn shirt and that does not fly with me. I also know your rooming with my Ex fiance. I do not want your wicked ways corrupting her more then she already is. I also hear your a good fighter. I challenge you."

Goliath then grinned and got into his fighting stance. He had come to a tie when he fought Kim and had beaten Broadway. This spoiled brat would be no contest at all against Goliath leader of the Colden's.

Shego stared at her hand from where Goliath had flung it aside. Already red welts were popping up where he'd gripped it so hard. He was rough; she liked it when guys were rough. They were less likely to get emotionally attached. Shego licked her lips, and continued to taunt him with her smile.

Her smiled faltered when he began to describe the track record he claimed to know so much about. Was that a flicker of pain in her eyes. Regardless, it was gone in a flash, and her seductive smile was plastered back in place. He didn't know anything about her, despite how mostly accurate his description of her reputation was. But in her defense, she'd been played, too. For her money, her body, or her status, it didn't matter. That lack of true feeling had warped her interpretation of contact between members of the opposite sex. Everything was physical. You can't get attached that way.

She was tempted not to roll her eyes when he mentioned Kim. Ah, so that's why he hated her. Fire crotch had, no doubt, spewed her sob stories at him. But as for his ex fiance? Who was that? Carter? She seemed to be too "June Cleaver" for Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome. And as for Diana, the only time she had talked to the girl was to bum a cigarette off of her. Other than that, she practically ignored her two roomates except to gripe when their stuff ended up on her side of the room. If there was anything she couldn't stand about having room-mates, it was having her Prada confused with their Old Navy.

Shego could suppress a giggle of amusement. Fight? Him? Her? She was on the fencing team, a dancer, a gymnast, and a swimmer. Despite her lovely petite form, she was much tougher than she looked, and more agile than most. But she didn't want to fight. Not yet, anyway.

With a soft sigh, she smiled up at him and brushed her fingertips against his cheek. She was pulling out all the stops on this ginger sympathizer. "Sure," she purred, "we can fight. But why don't we take it to my dorm?" She pulled her dorm key out of her bra, where she stored everything when she practiced her routines, and wiggled in front of his nose. She pressed against him, her hands splayed against his chest. "What do you say?"

Goliath just stood there coldly as Shego kept trying to bait him. She was basicly trying to whore herself out to him. He just took the key and then threw it to the ground and shook his head. She was pathetic. Goliath only liked two girls excluding Diana because of what happened. He liked Ariel and Kim and Kim hated Shego which gave him reason enough to not like Shego eather. He just stepped back from her.

"Sorry but I prefer my girls with red hair and not total users. Oh by the way, Kim is way cuter then you and I bet she could beat your flirty ass in a fight."

It was his turn to mess with Shego now. He wanted to prove to her that she wasn't as special as she thought she was. It was time to give this girl a reality check.

"You may be hot now but once you age you will end up old wrinkled and alone. Now, if you wanna act like a queen of the school you will face me here and now and prove how high and mighty you are."

He then grinned and got into his fighting pose, his eyes dark and full of fighting flame. It was time to show the green dressed whore who she was dealing with.

Anger flickered in Shego's eyes as her keys went flying. She glared at the senior, hearing her keys clang and skitter across the ground, coming to a stop only when it thudded against something. She assumed it had hit the other set of bleachers on the opposite side of the court. She was trying to retain her composure; she didn't want to give up on him just yet, but he was quickly starting to wear her wavering patience thin.

"Sorry but I prefer my girls with red hair and not total users. Oh by the way, Kim is way cuter then you and I bet she could beat your flirty ass in a fight." What was it with this guy blowing bubbles up that ginger's butt? They must've been banging. No guy would be so defensive otherwise without knowing anything about Shego.

As the comments got progressively worse, Shego's mood only continued to sour. It was more than she could take, and for the second time in only a few days, she was driven to intense anger. This time by someone she had in no way provoked. She didn't care if people hated her as long as she was causing it, but for someone to spit insults at her like they knew her life story? That was hitting below the belt, even for someone like her.

At her breaking point, Shego drew her hand back and slapped him with all her might. Her eyes were black slits of anger, and her dark hair hung in her face, giving her a wild, manic expression. "You know nothing about me!" she shrieked, taking a step back and assuming the defensive pose she'd been taught countless times during fencing practice. If he wanted a fight, she would give him on. A small, wicked smile played at her lips as the radio, which she had forgotten was still playing, changed track to a hardcore, fast-paced rock song, fitting the mood perfectly.

Goliath just let himself be slapped and watched as Shego got ready for the fight. He stayed in his defensive position. He was going to make her see what she did to boys when she crushed their hearts. He wanted to change her. If he had to beat her to do it then so be it. Goliath Listened as the rock music came on and he narrowed his eyes and took off running. He stepped side to side to make her keep up and then sent a hard side kick at her and then quickly ducked down and sent a claw shaped jab at her stomach.

He then jumped back and got into his gargoyle claw fighting stance. He was going to beat her. He was going all out on her. He quickly ran at her again and then slid on his heels and went to knock her feet out from under her and then hit her with both of his palms in her thighs to slow her down. He knew she fought like Kim. They were an even match. Goliath wasn't going to lose.

This was ridiculous! All-out brawling was for poor people and people who didn't have cable. It wasn't like fencing, which was equally brutal but more sophisticated. No, this guy just wanted a knock-down, drag out. And he had pissed her off to the point that she was finally willing to give it to him. She'd been in few fist fight, and never with someone of his stature, but she was determined not to let this stop her from teaching him a lesson he wouldnt' soon forget.

His kick was easily dodged, with her balancing on her toes and arching her entire body to dodge it. His shot at her stomach surprised her, and with her balance not allowing her to block it, it hit head-on. The air exploded from her lungs, and she doubled over in pain, holding her stomach as she gasped for air.

Ignoring the stabbing pain in her stomach, she righted herself and backhandspringed away, aiming a kick at his groin in the process. She stood away from him, her body low and her legs spread, panting. Her hair was plastered to her face with sweat. The guy was tought, she would admit. But he was oh so predictable. She finally ran at him, feigning to whip around behind him and instead aiming a very unladylike punch to his face.

Goliath saw that his kick had connected with her gut and she went down. He may have been slow but he was strong and durable. He saw how she ran at him to kick him in the groin. He quickly moved his knee so it took the hit and he watched her get away from him. She was quick like Kim so he needed to be careful. He saw her running at him and decided to meet her half way. He took off running for her and saw her try and spin and punch him in the face. He quickly spun on his heels dance style and grabbed her arm to finish the spin and then thrust his palm upward under her chin and then spun on one foot to spin kick her in the gut while she was in the air.

"The pain you are feeling Physically now is the pain you cause emotionally to the shy boys you use for your own gain. It is not to late for you to change. I don't like you for your body. I like you for your fighting spirit. I am trying to save my lost love Diana from the path of wrong. You are welcome to join her. It isn't to late Shego."

[Shego Romero]

Shego hit the ground hard, bouncing off the hard, wooden floor and skidding across it. She had deflected the worst of his kick by curling into a ball, but she had still been sent flying. Her body was one huge ache, and her stomach was aflame with pain. Her breathing was labored, and she had to force herself to her feet once more. Her eyes were narrow slits of anger.

This what what she did to shy guys? Who did this guy think he was? She didn't want shy guys. She wanted a man who could hold his own and care for her. That wasn't to say she expected to be waited on hand and foot, but she didn't want some nancy mama's boy either.

"SHUT UP! You act like you're some kind of modern-day Yoda, but you don't know shit," she spat, sizing him up. She prowled around him, her eyes taking in every miniscule detail. "You can preach to me all you want, but it means nothing to me. Because you have no clue what you're talking about," she snarled.

She ran at him once more, ignoring the screaming protests of her body. Her fist was balled up once more, and she once again aimed it at his face. At the last minute, she flicked her arm around and aimed what could be a devestating jab to his solar plexis. It wouldn't take much force, and the slightest amount in that sensitive spot would take a heavy toll.

Goliath listened to Shego say that he was wrong but he knew in some small way he was right. He saw her fly across the room and was worried that he had gone to rough on her. He then saw how she ran at him and acted like she was gonna punch him in the face but she faked him out and hit him right in the Solar Plexis causing him to cough up blood and fall to his knees. His body began to shake as he coughed up more blood. He had to hit himself in the leg to jolt him upright. His legs shook but he stayed up right.

"I respect you Shego. Your strong, Brave and beautiful. If it wasn't for the using men for sex..I would be with you if you wanted a relationship."

He then ran at her and tried to sweep her feet from under her and pin her down. They were both tired and getting weaker. He needed to end this quick. As he went to attack Shego an image of Diana flashed into his mind as he went to punch her and he froze and pulled his fist back.

"Diana..Why..?"

Shego stared in horror as the senior began coughing up blood. She jumped back, lest any of it spatter on her. Her stomach heaved and she had to stop herself from retching as the crimson fluid began dripping down his lips, congealing on his shirt. She looked away, covering her mouth.

"I respect you Shego. Your strong, Brave and beautiful. If it wasn't for the using men for sex..I would be with you if you wanted a relationship."

So now this guy was giving her lopsided compliments? Why? Because she was currently beating the tar out of him. His words reverberated deep in her chest, and her heart pulsed painfully. But her eyes were cold; he'd struck one too many nerves for her to take him seriously. She pushed the comment to the back of her mind and locked it away.

"I don't need you," she muttered bitterly. "I don't need anyone."

He rushed at her, and she stood ready to block, even though her body was well past its limits. She wanted to collapse on the floor, but she refused to give up. When a strange emotion flickered in his eyes and he paused mid-punch, Shego was baffled.

"Diana..Why..?"

Shego did not hesitate. She jumped up and aimed a kick in the center of his pecs.

"Hey! You're the one who wanted this fight! You might as well pay attention to it!" she hissed.

[Goliath Coldan]

Goliath snapped out of his illusion and felt the punch in the pecks. He saw that Shego was almost beaten. He just sent a couple of quick boxing jabs to Shego's sides and then before she fell he pulled her into a close hug.

"You did wonderful. see how tired and weak you feel? That is how men feel internally after you leave them after sex. They can grow to care about you. I know some guys are ass holes but not all of us are. If you will let me I will be your comrad."

He then picked her up cradle style nice and easy and walked over to the bench and lied her down softly and took off his coat and folded it up and put it under her head. He then fell on his ass and began to laugh as he laid back.

"That was the best fight I have had in years! I can barley move!"

He just let a deep laugh out as he thought of his fights with Bert and Kim and Diana. He just sighed and smiled.

"I'm sorry for provoking you Shego. I am not an ass normally. I was afraid that if something wasn't done you would go off the deep end like Diana is close to doing.. So how was I? We can fight again any time you want to. Is this your first loss?"

More stabbing pain was felt as several well-aimed punches landed on Shego in various places. Her knees buckled, but before she hit the ground, she felt strong arms come around her, wrapping her in an embrace. Her eyebrows disappeared beneath her bangs in shock. A low growl rumbled in her throat as he mentioned his perceived notions of her sketchy past, and her eyes rolled skyward. Boy, this guy was a piece of work.

Her body tensed as he picked her up, and she leaned as far away from his chest as was physically possible. She was ready, waiting for him to drop her or fling her against the bleacher...something. When he didn't, and simply placed her gently on the bleachers, she stared hard at him, a calculating coldness masking confusion and and curiosity.

"Hate to burst your bubble, big boy, she said sarcastically, but their was no spite in her voice, but I don't have 'comrads.' Especially with people who challenge me to a fight." Nonetheless, she gently clung to the jacket he placed under her head, the only sign of vulnerability she had ever shown.

She jumped when he fell, and though she didn't laugh along with him, amusement flickered in her eyes before vanishing again. She just snorted derisively when he apologized for provoking her. No one spat taunts at you or challenged you to a fight unless they wanted to provoke you.

"Look," she said flatly, "I don't know anything about Diana, nor do I want to. She's just a roommate with bad taste in music whom I occasionally bum smokes off of. So how 'bout you stop comparing me with her, 'kay?"

She painstakingly propped her torso up on her elbows and stared dubiously when he asked for a fighting critique. Was this guy bipolar or something?

"You were okay, I guess. For a guy. And no." Her voice softened. "I've lost a lot before now. But that was my first time losing a fist fight, yes." With that, she looked away and stared across the gym, her gaze landing on her radio, which was playing some melancholy tune. She rolled her eyes. How melodramatic.
