Lena walked into her dorm and threw her bag on her bed. She was in no mood to do her homework. She sat down on her bed, turned her ipod on shuffle, placed it in her dock and blasted it, wanting to block out the day, the world and her own thoughts. She had had a horrific day and just wanted to tune everything out.
Bent over a notebook. Lena wrote, pen flying over the page. Just as she finished a page and flipped to a new crisp, clean page her phone rang. She had been hoping the world would disappear if she played her music loud enough but apparently it wasn't enough. She picked up the phone and looked at the caller ID, sighing as she did so. It was a boy from her school back home. She may miss Germany but she was in no mood to deal with anyone right now, especially people she rarely heard from anymore.
Lena muted the phone and went back to writing only to have her concentration broken almost instantly by a knock at the door. WHAT NOW! she thought as she walked to her Ipod and paused the music. The knocking continued. Well they knew someone was here now so she couldn't exactly ignore whoever it was without having to explain herself later. And so, with a frown on her face, she walked to the door and opened it knowing full well that she had almost no chance at enjoying the visitor. Why nobody in America seemed to understand alone silent time she would never understand

Today was not a good day. No it was not, it was not. Mini had left her homework for one class in the dorm and just completely forgotten to do another. Then there was that pop quiz. Oh goodness that had been terrifying. She was just breathing a sigh of relief that the day was over when she realized she didn't have her key. It was nowhere on her. As she walked to the dorm she realized she knew exactly where it was. In the room. Lena was going to kill her. Well more then Lena usually wanted to kill her. That did not sound pleasing. Not one bit.
Mini nocked on the door and moved back... waiting for her to open it hard. The first time Lena had done that she had hit Mini and sent her into the wall. She'd sort of apologized but Mini did not want it to happen again. Thus she moved back. She waited quietly for Lena to open the door terrified of what would happen. Her roommate was a scary German.

Lena walked over to the door and bent down to look through the peephole. The person bouncing on the other side was not a welcome sight. Lena's face turned red with fury as she saw her overactive pipsqueak of a roommate on the other side of that door. This runt of the litter roommate had a habit of forgetting her keys in the room and expecting to be let in just by knocking. She needed to learn to be responsible and Lena was growing sick of having to let the pitiful thing in. She also just wasn't in the mood for the incessant chatter from her.
Lena opened the door, anger written all over her face, and stormed over to Mini. She stood over the short roommate and glared at her before speaking. "You forgot your key again DIDN'T YOU! How many times do I need to tell you that I am not the door keeper. Next time I might just leave you out here. Maybe THAN your pea sized brain will remember your key. Sie lästigen Nager. Sollte ich einfach lassen wir Sie hier. Ich brauche nicht das unaufhörliche Rauschen und endlose Kopfschmerzen. WARUM!"
Lena pushed her hair back from her face and rubbed her temples for a second, trying to calm down a bit. After a moment she walked back to the doorway and stared down her roommate once more. "Geben Sie! Schnell! Bevor ich meine Meinung ändern." Lena felt that she was being gracious letting Mini in but if she didn't move her butt and get inside, Lena would shut the door in her face and leave her outside until their other roommate showed up and let her in, which could be hours. Lena pondered this but decided she would give the runt sixty seconds to get in. Luckily for Lena those sixty seconds were ticking by quickly. She smiled at the thought knowing full well that Mini knew virtually no German. This would brighten her day she thought.
OOC: translation of what was said in German- 1) You pesky rodent. I should just leave you out here. I do not need the incessant noise and endless headaches. WHY! 2) Enter! Quickly! Before I change my mind.

Mini squeaked loudly at being yelled at. Lena was being the scary scary german. She was yelling so loud. Mini covered her ears. "Lena I'm sorry" she said sadly. "I know I'm a bad roommate please don't hate me." She looked as she said something and opened the door.
Mini ran through the door and flopped onto the bed. "I made cookies in one of my classes today would you like one? They're chocolate chip." She thought maybe that Lena was PMSing. Maybe that was why she was such a super cranky pants today. "There is even milk in the fridge." She was really trying. She bounced slightly on her bed. She reached over and picked up her stuffed puppy and hugged it tightly to her chest. "Did you have a bad day?" She looked at her with big eyes and frowned.
What could she do to make her not angry. Maybe some German Chocolate cake? Or frankfurters? Those were German. She didn't know how to make her happy. She was not used to people yelling so loudly at her.

Lena sulked back into the room, slamming the door behind her. Then the irritatingly high pitched voice started cutting into the silence almost instantly. Are you kidding me! Lena thought as she slumped back into her desk chair. This is why I never want to let her in. I never learn... WHY DO I NEVER LEARN!
Lena continued to attempt to tune her roommate our when she heard her roommate ask if she had had a bad day. Lena snapped. Did I have a bad day?! Are you serious. DID I HAVE A BAD DAY?! Sie unreif, idiotische Ratte! OF COURSE I HAD A BAD DAY! I WAS HOPING TO HAVE SOME PEACE AND QUIET AND THEN YOU SHOWED UP! At least Aine is quiet and not always around. You seem to pop up in every corner and you NEVER SHUT UP! I just wanted one afternoon of silence and solitude to wallow in my own misery. I CAN'T EVEN GET THAT MUCH. So YES I HAD A BAD DAY YOU IRRITIEREND KIND!
Lena was fuming and there was nothing anyone could do to make it better. And so she just sat there, staring at the wall with fire in her eyes as the anger just took over.
OOC: 1) you immature, idiotic rat! 2)irritating child

Mini's eyes widened as she got yelled at and she slowly pulled her blanket up around her head and then over her face. She curled up into a little ball under the blanket and tried not to cry. Why was she always yelling at her? She tried to be a good roommate. She was always being sweet and helpful. She was just forgetful.
She sniffed and looked out a little bit from under the blanket "I'm sorry Miss Scary. I'll be really quiet and I won't talk even a little bit. Though I'm kind of talking right now. So after I finish talking I won't talk anymore. Except for a few sniffles because I'm kind of crying. I don't do well with being yelled at. But I'm trying. I want to make you happy. So here I go, I'll stop talking Miss Scary." She grabbed a large stuffed toy and snuggled with it crying softly. She didn't like how her roommate treated her. Though she knew she probably deserved it. She just wanted to be liked.
She wondered where Aine was. She liked her. She didn't yell. She sniffled and peeked her head out. She needed a hug. Why is Miss Scary so.... scary?
