Breaking in ANOTHER roommate!

Hal swung the door to his room open, slamming it into the wall as he did so. He was back at Yen Sid and, 'lucky him', had been informed that he would have to break in ANOTHER freaking roommate. Hal hated the idea of roommates and usually loathed the roommates that he got randomly assigned with. He also knew that many of his roommates got scared off never to return. This just proved that he wasn't meant to live with other guys. Now GIRLS on the other hand. That he knew he could easily break in... and not in the normal sense of the word.

Hal smiled a bit at the thought of all the females he had... conquered and then remembered where he was and returned to his angry demeanor. F*CK this s**t! Hall muttered as he dragged some of his belongings into the room. he had more stuff in his car but didn't feel like walking back and forth with more of his crud. He threw his messenger bag onto his unmade bed and plopped down at the desk chair with a sigh.

Hal didn't mind school. In fact he often thrived here. He did great business and was able to live his life in the best ways possible. And the girls... so many girls. But moving in and moving out... that was the biggest pain and waste of time if you asked Hal. There was business to be done and money to be made. He couldn't wait for his ditsy minions to show up so that he could assign them grunge work but for now he had to do his own grudge work and that just wouldn't do.

Hal had just finished looking up the numbers of a few of his usual workers and was preparing to hit send on a long text when he heard some noises at the door of his room. Oh goodie. My new underling is here. Let the torture begin Hal thought to himself as he walked over to open the door and offer his... "welcomes" to the new mean sack that would be his roommate. Let's see how long this one lasts

Blaine dragged his damn luggage around trying to find his room. Things were chaotic and everything just overwhelming. Plus the temperature change from Hawaii to New Hampshire it felt cold. This was ridiculous and he didn't want to even be here. Stupid kid didn't even get injured that badly. He was now here though and he hoped things would be good and calm. He saw the name Hal and hoped it wasn't some dumbass who got in his way or some snooty nerd who told a teacher about everything. He trudged to the room finally finding it and opened the door.

As he stepped through he saw the roomie standing there looking at him. He smirked as he thought this guy would be easy to get by. He smoothed back his hair as he said, "Hey there my name is Blaine. I guess I'm your roommate so Aloha." He felt like it would be good to say something in native tongue and he hoped that things would be good between them and not like other people. He threw his stuff near a bed and jumped on one smiling as he hoped that this would be a good year.

Hal felt a bit jipped. That had been the most anticlimactic introduction he had ever gotten from a roommate and for some reason this pissed him off. Not enough that he lost his cool but enough that his mind started trying to think of ways to get a more interesting reaction out of the munchkin. Nonetheless, Hal kept his cool and bit back his anger. Instead of blowing up he simply replied, I'm Hal. And well you'd be my new roommate but yes. Welcome to... our lovely home for the next few months.

Hal thought to himself as he kept a simple demeanor so as to not give anything away. If this brat wants to play the chill it out until hell freezes over game, he's met his match. I refuse to let this punk win in my turf. Everything was a contest with Hal and he would never be happy unless he succeeded and proved once again that he is superior and worthy of respect and control. Anyone who knew Hal knew he had no patience and that he was kidding himself by thinking that he could simply wait out the boy and watch the youngling blow up first. But most people who knew Hal were afraid of him so no one would ever tell him he was wrong... yet. Hal could sense this boy would not be easily broken but he refused to give up so easily and so here they were, playing the waiting game while Hal internally fought with himself. It was going to be along night and Hal knew it.

Blaine raised an eyebrow as he looked at him and said, "So does this make us Ohana now? If so please don't ever call my brother or you'll find yourself with a broken nose." He sighed as he said that out loud not caring what he said. This guy looked to be a pushover so he should have an easy time this year. Hopefully when he started the next year he wouldn't have to deal with this guy again. He yawned as he started to unpack sniffing himself. He cringed as he smelled horrible from all the sweat.

He sighed as he looked around and wondered if there was a shower here or not. He really hoped he didn't have to share it with others. That was nasty although he would get some good looks, but he didn't care about that. He just wanted to have some fun here. He looked around before he said, "Hey um where are the showers at? Do we have one per room or is it a communal shower?" He crossed his fingers as he hoped it was personal showers and didn't really want to be sharing it with a bunch of other smelly guys.

Hal rolled his eyes a bit when the guy started talking about 'ohana'. Anyone with two brain cells knew what it meant and Hal knew he would never want this brat for a brother. Sorry kid but you would never have lasted a day with my brothers so no we're not Ohana. We're roommates and that's all. Hal kept a dead face but internally was suddenly cheering up. He loved bursting people's bubbles. It was one of Hal's past times. Crushing people's dreams. What could be better?

Then Hal heard what the kid said next and almost fell over from laughing. This kid was coming to a school where a nice chunk of the students were on full or partial scholarships and he wanted to know if each room had its own bathroom?

Hal finally stopped laughing long enough to catch his breath and respond.Kid I hate to break it to you but this school doesn't put its money into THAT MUCH water and plumbing. We get one bathroom for girls and one for boys on each floor of the dorms. There are a few showers in each one as well as a few toilets and a few sinks. Don't freak out too much though. There's a shower curtain and a wall between each one so no one will be getting a shot of your man parts unless you go and show them. Hal looked the boy over and thought to himself I wouldn't put it beyond him...

Hal was in surprisingly good spirits and was watching his new roommate anxiously for the explosive response he hoped would come. That would be the icing on the cake of Hal's day. He thought to himself, And I was worried this was going to be a boring and dull roommate. The old coot would never do that to me. He smiled his toothy grin at the boy as he waited, looking almost like a hungry fox watching it's dinner. And oh how delicious it looked.

Damon sighed as he said this. This would be a long year ahead of him and he knew that this wouldn't be fun either. This guy was a drag and he really didn't like this. He couldn't take a joke and he always seemed to be a bummer about everything. He looked at him with a little irking in his face about the bathrooms, but shrugged it off and said, "Oh well. It happens not all schools can be able to do bathrooms per room." He really wasn't that bothered by it. He would get used to it.

On the hand of brothers he didn't care either. He just said Ohana to mess with the guy. He really loved his roommate and he hoped to have some fun with him this year. He smiled at him as he said, "Hey I got some booze in here for you wanna have some?" He didn't really it was just some water in a flask to fool them. He would never bring the booze himself. That was the job of his friends and he knew he would make tons of friends here. Maybe even find that guy to be with and have some fun too.
