Personality: Jim is a very adventurous and caring young lad. He loves his mother so much and couldn't live without her. He loves the great outdoors which is the cause of the adventure side in him. He's rather rebellious and can be named as a 'rule breaker' too. He prefers to keep himself to himself but if he had to hang out with someone, maybe a few close friends wouldn't be all that bad. Jim is quite brave compared to the other students and would do something that is a bit 'out there'. When it comes to friends, Jim is loyal and trustworthy; even if he has a few trust problems himself. He absolutely hates authority and would go out of his way to break it; if he never got caught anyway. Alongside his trust issues, Jim's anger is quite worrying at times. If someone has annoyed him or tried to tell him what he could and couldn't do, he would flip and walk somewhere where he could calm himself down . He isn't very shy when it comes to the ladies but Jim does want to find the perfect girl and settle down in the future.
Where I Began
Mother: Sarah Hawkins
Father: Greg Hawkins (deceased)
Siblings: N/A
Other Relatives: N/A
Pets: A jack russell called Bones
Friends: An old childhood friend called John Silver but Jim hasn't seen him in years.
History: Jim grew up in a little pub on the outskirts of Atlanta. When he was about eight, his father died in the navy and but left the pub for his mother to look after. As a young child, Jim took up a scouts club and learnt all the knots and other important things with the great outdoors. At this club was where he met John Silver or Long John was his nickname. Him and John got along very well together but a bitter row between the two kids broke them apart and they didn't really see each other after that. When Jim was older, he took up the hobby in sailing. His father was a navy officer and this was the inspiration that set Jim's dreams up; he wanted to become part of the navy. This dream was shot short by his mother, forbidding him to never live up to that dream. Instead, Jim took his balancing skills to the test and soon liked skateboarding. Once he was old enough, his mother sent him to this school (with the full support of a family friend) in hopes of Jim finding something interesting that wasn't either too dangerous or too adventurous

Amy walked through the dungeons with a determined look on her face. Now normally Amy wouldn’t be seen dead in the dungeons closer to the Slytherin common room but she wasn’t there for fun; she had given herself a mission and she wanted to complete it. It wasn’t something she neither liked nor was it something she was proud about but Amy was completely and utterly ready for what she was about to do and nobody was going to stop her.
It all happened this morning when Amy was happily eating at the Hufflepuff table in the Great Hall. She was laughing and joking around with her friends whilst eating her breakfast. She was surprised that her owl, Sugar Dumpling had swooped down from the window and landed on the table before her. Amy was pleased to see her owl after a while without replies or letters from her mother. She took the letter from the claw of the barn owl and looked at the seal. It was exactly the same seal that her mother used and Amy felt that same twinge of excitement in her stomach that she always felt when she received letters from her mother. They contained either good news or a few galleons but this time, her mother only put her surname on the front of the letter and she never did that. Amy’s mother only addressed her daughter by her first name and her mother putting only her surname was rather unusual. Amy hesitated to open it but decided otherwise. Putting her finger under the flap, she swiftly ripped open the envelope and unfolded the letter.
Dear Amy,
I have something important to tell you. The other day your Grandfather visited me and told something very strange and at first I did not believe it for myself. My father told me that before he got with my mother, he was with another woman. They together had a baby and then my father fell in love with my mother. What I’m trying to say is you have an aunt. I didn’t know this myself because your Grandfather kept it a secret from me my whole life and only decided to tell me now. What he also told me was his other daughter had a child and she is now at Hogwarts. I believe she is a couple of years younger than you but you have a secret cousin. Enclosed with this letter is a family tree. It is an exact replica of the tree I have at home that your Grandfather gave to me. I hope that you can find your cousin and get in contact with her. I don’t know but maybe if you become good friends with your cousin, I can finally see my sister but don’t be too sure of it. I love you so much.
Hugs and Kisses
Mum x
Once Amy had finished reading the letter, she was gobsmacked. All this time, Amy had another cousin which she didn’t even know about. Why did her grandfather keep it a secret for so long? Why didn’t he tell her mother when he first knew about it? All these questions were filling up in her head and she decided that she wanted answers. Amy picked up the family tree her mother had given her and scanned it for the girl that she was meant to be looking for. Her name was Tiffany Carter. That name was rather familiar to her and Amy tried to remember back to when the first years (that were now in their fourth year) were being sorted. Then something clicked inside Amy’s brain and she instantly knew where she would find this Tiffany.
So now here she was, walking in the direction of the Slytherin common room looking for Tiffany Carter. Amy didn’t care that she was stared at by many Slytherins and was given many glares by them. So what? A Hufflepuff was walking through the dungeons. Yes it wasn’t exactly seen much and yes Amy had only been down there for potions but she didn’t care. She was on the search for her long lost cousin.
Amy saw a couple of fourth year Slytherins and quickly bounded up to them. ”Excuse me, do any of you know Tiffany Carter?” She asked politely but was only given filthy looks. “Who wants to know?” A Slytherin girl asked as she stepped toward Amy and was standing in front of her. ”Because I need to talk to her. Do you know her or not?” She asked impatiently. She didn’t want to waste time talking to a bunch of Slytherin girls if they didn’t know Tiffany but then again, they could know her whereabouts. “I do know her yes.” The girl replied. Amy’s hopes where lifted and a big smile was set on her face. ”Do you know where she is now?” Amy replied, hoping that the girls had seen her. “Can’t say I have.” The Slytherin replied and laughed. The others joined in and Amy lost her patience. ”Look, if you don’t know where Tiffany is then fine but don’t be all gobby to me. I have something important to tell her.” Amy said and gave the Slytherins a glare. She was fed up with Slytherins already but she knew that she had to talk to her cousin.
