Who I Am Inside
Likes: Fashion, Romance, History, Cats, Compliments, individuality, looking at art, singing, his material possessions.
Dislikes: Loud noises, the fashionless, clashing colors, anything science or math related, the color yellow, reading, almost all of school, insults, critics.
Strengths: Kenichi considers himself a fashion king, as well as an excellent stylist and singer. He has photographic memory, and you should try his cooking, it's phenomenal.
Weaknesses: Ken cannot even draw a stick figure, let alone create 'real' art. He's also terrible at school in general, has a horrible work ethic, he has no hand-eye coordination, making sports difficult and he is a very bad liar.
Fears: Bad hair days, heights, breaking a bone, never finding love.
Personality:
you probably have never met someone so in to fashion. Let alone a guy. Well, to Ken, it's his life. He is very honest, to the point of being hurtfully blunt, passionate, and actually is a deep thinker, if you get past... way past his 'outer shell'. Ken is a guy who puts a lot of emphasis on how he looks... and since he's also self-centered, egotistical and arrogant, you'll be hearing a lot about it. He's not one to keep friends around for very long since he doesn't know the meaning of the word loyalty, but he's there if he's got time. Ken also makes his opinion known. At every. possible. point. He is usually more polite about it, but you get him riled up about white after labor day and he can go off on you. This teenage asian is absolutely enthralled with the concept of romance, and is constantly trying to perfect his non-existent skills with the ladies of the school. For some reason, they never think he's into girls though...

History: When you're born as the illegitimate son of a huge business tycoon in Japan, life's gonna be a bit different than most. Kenichi grew up that exact way, his first ten years of life being shooed around by a father who only saw him as a moral obligation because of a mistake he made with his public relations staff member. His mother had been fired from the business, however they had joint custody of the child. Ken went from being the unspoken son of a huge industry icon to the quiet son of a sauna owner between the months. In one home he had butlers and a whole mansion as his play fort, in another he helped clean out bathrooms and played quietly with his hand held gaming device. When at his fathers, a luxurious wardrobe fit for the real son of such a man, and at his mothers house he had whatever he could stuff in a suitcase from his father's home.
When his mother's new business tanked though, Ken found out her true nature. She packed up and moved out of the country just to escape some fees, and left the poor grief-stricken boy at his father's house. His mother was more of a parent than his father, she would at least listen to him. Forced to take on a child, Aito was surprised to find love that same year, in the form of the private tutor he had hired to help with Ken's surprising lack of academic prowess. They were married, and when Ken was nine, the real son his father wanted had arrived. An heir to an empire. Ken went from being the unspoken child to the forgotten child. Sure, he had his wealth still, but what was that compared to the amount of love these new parents gave his brother, Brian?(BREE-AHN)
When Kenichi found out he was unwanted, he requested that his father sent him, and his closet to his real mother's home in Japan, a mother that actually cared about him. He was 13 at the time. So Ken packed up, said goodbye to the butler and maids he actually enjoyed, hugged the parents who unconsciously drove him out, and boarded a plane by himself to a little town known for a great school where his mother owned a dry-cleaning business. He started over. Ken told himself the only way to truly matter was to act like you mattered, or else people would forget about you. You had to OWN yourself and your actions, and never take anything you say back. Surely that would make a more interesting Kenichi? One that people paid attention to?
He restructured his life around a dream of being a fashion designer, and quickly found that 'unforgettable' personality as he entered high school. Now, in his senior year, Ken is contemplating that maybe acting that way was the reason he never kept a friend, and his mother seemed a bit concerned about it. That was after you deciphered her yelling and constant swearing. Was this better than being forgotten?
