Mirror Mirror On the Wall
Skin tone: fair, pale with some light freckles that come out in summer on the bridge of her nose and under her eyes.
Hair: light/medium brown that's shoulder length at the moment, though she's been known to cut it really short because it's easier to manage.
Eyes hazel with almost ridiculously long eyelashes. Hey, at least she's never had to wear mascara.
Height: 5'10
Weight:129 lbs.
Body Type: She's curvy and not exactly the skinniest person out there, but she is still slender and agile
Other Birthmark on her left arm, sort of high up on the arm and it looks like a cluster of light, almost-mocha freckles. Her knees are scarred from a fall on cement and when she rolled her four wheeler when she was eight or so. From the roll, she has a small scar below the big one on her left knee, two black dots to the right of her right knee, a two-inch long curved scar on the side of her right calf, all from the roll. She also has two pock-mark scars above her right ankle from when she accidentally spilled boiling soup on herself.
Who I Am Inside
Likes: rain, chocolate, pit bulls, mastiffs, big dogs of any kind, exploring, adventures, Indiana Jones movies, movies in general, animals, reptiles, snakes, alligators/crocodiles, horses, storms, thunder storms, lightning, gorillas, photography, reading, writing, cameras, traveling, world-traveling, fruit, veggies, the smell of cigarette smoke -reminds her of her Grandpa-, climbing trees, parkour/freerunning, Morocco, Africa, African wildlife, London, antiques, climbing trees, shopping -shh, don't tell anyone-, good humor, four-wheeling, dune buggies, riding -horses-, archaeology, paleontology, zoology, dinosaurs, drawing, dancing, hanging out with friends, martial arts, music, country music -raised on it-, laughing, the smell of rain, Italian food, planes, fighter jets, flying, her flying lessons -though she had to stop them after coming to the academy-, monster/creature movies -like the Anaconda movies or Deep Blue Sea-, horror movies, trying new foods -no matter what they are-, Mongolia, Mongolian food, Chinese food, classic/muscle cars, motorcycles, hot rods, camping, hiking, soccer, and she's still trying new things.
Dislikes: lightning when it gets too close, snotty/arrogant people, crab, lobster, most fish, thunder right over head when she's all alone, power outages at night, animal abuse -hates it with a passion-, stereotypes -including animal stereotypes-, cheesy movies, full-on darkness, nightmares, angel food cake -to sweet!-, too much sweetness -food/sugar wise-, people who think their better than anyone else, sexists, too much drama, bland foods, gaudy jewelry -she's simple-, math -the bane of her existence!-, her dad most of the time, people getting hurt protecting her, not being able to protect her friends, not being able to explore/go on adventures, too much authority/strictness, uptight people, poachers, baboons -long story-
Strengths: good with animals, observant -even though she doesn't seem like it. She picks up on little details that are usually overlooked-, can adapt to almost any situation, makes friends easily, can get through the day with little sleep, opinionated, confident, martial arts
Weaknesses: strays -she wants to adopt every one she sees-, math, photography -when she sees something that would make a good picture, she has to take it- , exploring -whenever she's in a new place, she has to explore it, at least a little-, way too stubborn for her own,
Fears: the dark -though as long as she has some sort of light, she's usually okay-, drowning, losing/not being able to protect her friends/family, getting chased by baboons. Again.
Personality: Carter is usually a friendly creature, the outgoing one that strikes up a conversation with you without even knowing a single fact about you other than what you look like. She's very social and likes to have a lot of friends, though she has a small circle of those she truly, wholly trusts. She's the first to smile and the first to defend her friends. That said, she'd gladly get hurt protecting those she cares about, or even die for them if it came to that. She hates it when others get hurt protecting her, and will often chew them out while helping them with their wounds. But for all her niceness and good humor -though sarcastic and dry half the time-, she does know how to be serious, though she rarely likes it. When she's nervous or scared, she does her best not to show the full scale of said anxiousness. She hates it when people see her cry, and will often force herself not to when she begins to tear up. She's a fighter, stubborn through and through, and will fight not to let anyone or thing bring her down. Her will's ironclad and wrapped in layers of barbed wire and electrical fencing. Hopefully nothing will ever break it. She will go after anyone with a vengeance if they hurt her family, i.e, anyone she loves or cares about, regardless of blood relation. She's not initially very trusting of guys, thanks to her father pretty much being a pathological liar, but will be nice and friendly all the same to them. She can often be seen talking with them, her being a bit of a tomboy and all. She likes playing harmless pranks on her friends, often shocking laughs out of them instead of anger. For setting up these pranks, she has to be very sneaky usually to make sure nothing goes amiss or array, but not sneaky in a conniving way. She loves to make others smile and laugh even if she was having a bad day. She's upbeat and rolls with the punches, and tends to be optimistic. She gets annoyed like anyone, but it takes a lot to really anger her.
Where I Began
Mother:Charise Arla
Father:Gary Roth
Siblings:none
Other Relatives: Dorothy McMillan-Grandma. Thomas McMillan -Grandpa. Doug Arla -step-dad
Pets: At Yen Sid, she has a horse named Gidget. Shared her house back home with four cats and a dog. Her dad also has a cat, a Neapolitan mastiff that Carter just adores, and a dachshund that he adopted when his mother died -she was her dog-
Friends: none at the school yet
History: Not much to tell really. She grew up loving dinosaurs and reptiles and anything that had feathers, scales or fur. She grew up around horses and knew how to ride one before she could ride a bike. Her parents got divorced when she was 10 or 11, but she was fine with. Her dad wasn't that great anyway. She and her mom lived with her grandparents for two years before moving in with her step-dad, Doug. She thinks he's awesome and loves having him around, though she teases him a lot. She's one of those, the-more-I-tease-the-more-I-love types. Oh, and when her, her mom, and her Grandma went to a wildlife park, she ended up getting chased by angry baboons. Never again, will she eat a banana near monkeys. She will however, feed bananas to monkeys if she can.

Writing Sample: Carter smiled as she brushed down Gidget. The mare was an odd looking one, that was for sure. She was a buckskin and had heavy dappling up her neck and shoulders, black points, and a dorsal stripe. But Carter loved her anyway, even if she was a little crazy. Once, when Carter had only given her one treat for her birthday -unthinkable!- and since Gidget had taught herself how to pick her stall latch, she got into the feed room somehow at the stable they were boarding her at and almost gave herself colic from eating too much oats. Thankfully, a fellow boarder caught the fugitive and put her back in her stall, putting a chain on the latch so she couldn't get out anymore. Speaking of Gidg -her nickname- acting weird, the loon chose then to steal her hat of her head. "Gidget!" Carter exclaimed, reaching up to try and steal her hat back. From her horse. The universe either hated her, or just liked putting her into weird situations. Gidget had her own plans, and raised her head so she couldn't get the hat. Carter glared at her horse for a moment before getting an idea. She grabbed a carrot and waved under the lunatic's nose. "Compromise, Gidg?" She lowered her head for a moment and dropped the hat, snatching the orange vegetable from her owner's hand. She laughed and picked up the hat, dusting it off and placing it on Gidet's head since she seemed to like it so much. "A horse in a fedora. Who'd 'a thought?"
OOC: ok, my posts will be so much better than the one above lol.
