The tables were covered in rolls of fabric, needles, scissors, buttons. Everything needed to create a masterpiece was at his disposal. Yet, Aladdin stood flabbergasted, not having the slightest clue of where to begin. Measuring tape draped over his neck the boy looked around to find that the rest of his classmates had already found inspiration. It was easy for them, they unlike Aladdin had fashion sense. Al was so used to not caring about what he wore and was usually happy he had something to wear. The rest of his classmates could judge material and brands but to Al a good shirt was one that kept him warm in the winter and cool in the summer. To Al clothing was about its use not it's appearance.
But that thought wouldn't help his grade any. Al couldn't afford to fail this class, especially seeing that Professor Jinn was Hootfords roommate. Al raised his hand and waited for Professor Jinn to come over. " I don't know where to begin. I'm not really good at this fashion stuff. To me as long as it fits and doesn't have holes, it's good." Al wasn't sure what Hootford had told Jinn, or even if Hootford had mentioned Al at all. It wouldn't bother him if Hoot hadn't but he felt kind of awkward not knowing how much Jinn knew. Like did Jinn know that Hoot had caught him stealing clothes from Grotto's? Or that he'd been homeless for years?
