Yen Sid sat at his desk twiddling his thumbs and fumbling with papers. He had gotten a call earlier about a certain student who needed to be scared straight. As much as he enjoyed begin Headmaster this was the one responsibility that he took absolutely no joy in... well maybe not THE ONE but it was high on his list. He never was good at punishing people and he hated when people expected him to scare someone into behaving. He knew that being a teenager meant acting out and going a little wild but he also knew he was supposed to pull on the reigns to set them in line.
Yen Sid had decided that he would try talking to the boy before attacking him in any way. Maybe if they just talked he could get to the bottom of the problem and no serious disciplinary actions would have to be taken. Seeing as the teachers had been vague as to what exactly was the problem, he hoped this would work. Just as he had made up his mind that this would be his approach, he heard a knock at the door and he sighed. This was the moment of truth. He had to use his authority to help this boy and calm his staff down a bit. Oh how he hated this.
Yen Sid neatened up the papers a bit, smoothed his thin hair and than sat up in his chair before announcing Come in. I won't bite. Please come take a seat here. We need to talk young man. The act had begun. Only time could tell if he could keep it up and keep it believable for the time he needed.

"Headmaster needs you in his office." With his rap sheet Marshall knew this couldn't be anything good. He wasn't an honor roll student and he hadn't entered any contests recently so the meeting had to be disciplinary. Marshall knew he had ticked off a few teacher but he hadn't done it purposely. Who knew that telling Professor Wallace that he didn't sound like a whale today would be offensive; he had meant it as a compliment. There was also that time were he cussed in ASL but that had also been an accident. So what his mouth spoke faster than his mind could think, the teachers would get over it... eventually.
Marshall sluggishly walked down the halls dreading his talk with the Headmaster. If his father found out he'd be DEAD! he was already a disappointment and doing bad at school would only make matters worse. Marshall finally arrived and knocked on the door hoping the headmaster would be out for lunch or something. His fingers crossed didn't help any when a voice sounded from behind the door.
Come in. I won't bite. Please come take a seat here. We need to talk young man.
Marshall sat his butt down in the empty chair. Nervous as hell. He didn't know what it was about the guy that made him so jittery but he didn't intend to stay long enough to find out. There had to be something he could say to get him out of this mess. Before he could put a solid plan together in his head his mouth started yapping away, " I didn't say it to be mean, I swear" Marshall wasn't even sure why he was here and he was already defending himself. Way to prove you'll innocence man he thought to himself moments later.
