Dislikes: Being mistaken for their brothers, "chinese eyes", english (they prefer speaking in chinese but they speak it if they have to), chinese jokes, being asked if chinese food tastes the same in China, chinese government, daylight (they prefer the dark), when they can't figure something out, when someone can't understand them because of their accents.

Yu: Attractive men, insomnia, sleep walking, addicted to video games and claw games, adventures, exploring, wandering alone.
Fears: Losing each other, not fulfilling their dreams, not making their parents proud, nightmares about THE CLAW.
Personality: All three brothers are very smart and very good in school, especially at math. All three brothers also have an addiction to the arcade claw games they were introduced to when they came to America. They have lost money many times playing but they have also won many odd toys. But this addiction has gotten so out of hand that they dream about 'the claw' and itch to play if they can't. This addiction can sometimes get the boys into trouble but they never mean anything bad by it and they are seriously good kids with weird problems that no one would easily believe.
All three boys are very friendly and very trustworthy although to varying amounts. All three boys are similar but yet extremely different. Other than their similar features and their identical voices they are very easily told apart if you get the chance to seriously know them. Ying is seemingly the leader, Yong is the friendliest of the three and Yu is the most flamboyant and the biggest night owl of the three. All three have at least minor interest in both sexes and, like any young men, take joy in chatting about the latest hot meat on campus. They really are nice boys, however odd and out there they may seem (or be) and although they can be hard to understand at times, they can be some of the most helpful people you will meet as well as some of the brightest. They may think outside the box but they always get things done.

History: The Xié's were overjoyed the day that their sons were born but saddened at the same time. They knew the laws stated the need for small families in order to cause a minimal burden on the Chinese economy. The parents hid this fear from their sons and watched as they grew and quickly began to show their radically different personalities. Living in a small remote town, the threat of the government seemed far away and so the parents lied when asked by the government of the number of people living in their house and continued running their small family farm.
When the boys were about to turn ten, news entered the town that a government official would be coming to make an official census in about a week. Knowing the time had come, the Xiés explained to their sons everything and told them they had to leave and escape to America. The boys obeyed and began packing. In the middle of the night, the family slipped under the fences on the farm and began the long journey to shore and to freedom. They were all sad to leave their farm and home behind but they needed to and so they did.
WIthin a few months, they were in Manhattan living with some old family friends in the center of China Town. The boys attended school and worked in the local shops after school but things began to change. Ying began befriending gang members and helping them with dirty deeds, Yong began befriending cross dressers in the area and Yu began spending all of his time out wandering the streets doing things his parents didn't wish to imagine as his sleep became less and less. Furthermore the parents saw their sweet boys begin to close themselves off more and more and spend more and more time playing claw games and video games.
The years passed and the Xiés became more and more distraught until they began hearing their sons whisper "the claw" in their sleep. They no longer did their chores or followed the religion they had grown up with and it was decided that the boys needed to leave this area or noise and distraction and go somewhere to focus on their studies and hopefully return to the simple sweet focused boys they had been in China.
Just as the Xiés were running out of hope of finding a place to send their boys that they could afford they received a letter from a school called Yen Sid Academy. The school had apparently heard about how smart their sons were and was offering all three boys a scholarship to attend the school so long as they kept their grades up and considered joining the math team. The Xiés were overjoyed and quickly replied that their sons would take the offer.
With the help from the community, the triplets were sent to New Hampshire to begin their new schooling at this top school. America was proving to be the land of opportunity once more and all these loving parents could do was hope for the best as they watched their boys leave home once more, hopefully for great things.
