Personality: Eilonwy is young, and therefore can be rather childish. She is stubborn and often refuses to back down even when things are dire - this is both a good and a bad thing. Eionwy is also fairly heroic, standing up to any opponents and telling them how she feels - and she usually feels quite a lot.
Eilonwy likes to be around others, and despite her harsh talking (she has no filter, she says what she thinks - however foolish it sounds), she is quick to make friends. Mainly because she is so bubbly and enthusiastic over everything.
She never thinks before she acts, and so does many things that could be thought brave or foolish - but she doesn't do it for either of those reasons. Most of the time she has to be told several times before she stops and thinks about what is going on.
But she's charming, and it's hard not to like her - even if she is a little annonying now and then.

History:
Eilonwy grew up with her mother in a good sized apartment in Los Angeles. Her mother taught her to respect others, and she was home-schooled. Eilonwy got on well with her mothers over most things, but not over the fact that she should be a proper lady - one who went to the posh restaurants, who knew the right cutlery to use in such places, one who went to the fancy parties and knew the 'right' people.
Eilonwy wanted to be free and act like a child.
But this wouldn't do. Her mother, well known in circles in and out of Los Angeles didn't want any scandals over her daughters behaviour so at 11 she was sent to live with her aunt, Caroline. There, she was rarely allowed outside, and her home-schooling continued. Her aunt was mean, and controlling. Much like in fairytales, Eilonwy had to do the chores - but she hated this and dreamt of running away. She just needed the courage to do so...
One day Eilonwy found that courage and ran away, but she was found and returned to her aunt, who treated her worse than before. She was a prisoner in the horrid Aunt's apartment. But she escaped once more - offered a retreat at a school. She gladly accepted.

Eilonwy sighed, leaning back against the tall tree trunk, looking down but not at anything in particular.
She was just on the outside of the small forest located in what she assumed was a park. If she listened, Eilonwy could hear the birds tweeting and chirping away. They seemed happy, at least. Everything was going well for them. As for herself? There were strange things around her, and she had no idea where exactly she was yet. She certainly wasn't in Prydain that was for certain. But nothing seemed to be... To be scary yet, to be out to hurt her and that could only be a good thing. Everything was fine really, apart from the whole being lost thing. But that was nothing new to her.
Shaking herself out of her thoughts she stood up straight and started to weave a path through the small forest. Her feet were stepping lightly, and softly - well, she was going bare-foot after all. Shoes were too restricting, she never wore hers. It was nice to feel the fallen leaves crunch under her feet. A smile flitted across her face.
Glancing down at herself as she walked, she realized everything was weird now. She was weird. For some reason, Eilonwy felt strange. This place was... She shook herself. Now wasn't the time to be thinking deeply. She needed to find someone and get answers first!
Wandering along slowly, lost in her own little thoughts, Eilonwy didn't hear the pouncing boy until he was in plain sight. Even then, as she was looking down at her feet she didn't see him straight away. Her thoughts were drifting once more - heading to Taran, dear Taran who she missed more than anything now. Stupid Pig-Boy... She was annoyed with herself for being so very sentimental and thinking so often of her old friends when she knew there was nothing she could do about it, but still... Her friends were always in her thoughts.
Eilonwy gave a soft sigh, before tensing at the noise ahead of her. There... A boy! How delightful, she had finally seen someone here. That was always a good sign. Unless... What was he doing? She watched, eyes filled with amusement, before coming to the conclusion he was hunting the bird. Ah, yes! There, he muttered something about the bird. And then muttered again.
She couldn't help herself, it was so strange, and she had finally found someone else - she giggled. Loud, and bright - a childs giggle, innocent and happy. At the sound of her own giggle, she immediately brightened, a grin spread on her face, and she straightened up, prepared to talk to the boy.
