Personality: Martha is a very passionate teacher. Her drive for being a teacher is very strong and she feels that she needs to teach students and push them to their limits. Martha is very motherly toward the students but is prepared to take the appropriate action toward naughty students. A very caring teacher, Martha is very intelligent and thoughtful toward others. She can also be described as difficult and very loud but sweet and kind too.

History: Martha didn't have the best life. Her mother and father tried their hardest to give Martha and her brother the best things in life but they were very poor. It didn't bother Martha much; as long as she had her parents she was fine. When Martha started school though, she was bullied about her skin colour and the fact that she was poor. This was one of the reasons why she can be described as difficult. Once Martha had left school, she wanted to become a teacher but for two reasons. One, because she loved teaching students and the other reason was, she wanted to be there to help any students that were being bullied; like herself when she was younger. At the age of 29, Martha achieved the qualifications to become a performing arts teacher. At first Marth couldn't get any work. It was either her loud personality or they just weren't interested at all. Her big break came though. She got work at a local school for trouble youth and somehow, she understood them more than other students she had taught. They reminded her of herself when she was that age. At 35 she left the school after her dad died. She grieved along with her mother and helped her get back on her feet. After a few years, her mother died of natural causes too. Martha grieved again but felt that they were in a better place now. At the age of 40, Martha was given a job at Yen Sid academy. One of the reasons they hired her was about what she did to the students at the school she used to work at. Apparently, the students she taught all got better grades then they first thought and they began to ease up on knife and gun crime in the area. It has been a year now since she's been at Yen Sid Academy.
