Robin walked beside Damon, smiling like a giddy child. When Damon stated which dorm room he was in, Robin's face lit up a bit. They were neighbors, him in Dorm one and Damon in dorm 3. "Your dorm is right next to mine. I stay in dorm 1. If you want, when we get to the dorms we can go our separate ways and go change and meet up afterwards. It's up to you."
Robin smiled at Damon and thought everything was fine when he heard Damon ask an unusual question. He thought about it, pondering why he would ask this and how to answer. Was this a test or was there a reason behind it? Either way Robin didn't want to alarm Damon with a wrong answer but he wanted to be truthful. And so he thought in silence for a long moment before finally speaking. "In all honesty, I'd never forget you unless I felt you had forgotten me and even than I would work my hardest to never forget and trust me, I have a good memory so you'd be hard to forget." Robin smiled once more and than lost his smile as he added, "Would you mind if I asked why you asked? It seems an odd question to ask, not that I mind. It's a fair question. You wanted to put your mind at ease and as Shakespeare said, 'A peace above all earthly dignities, a still and quiet conscience.' He's right you know. A mind at peace and not worrying is a great thing to have."
Robin realized he must sound geeky quoting Shakespeare when explaining what he thought but this was what he did. Poe and Shakespeare were both quite intelligent men and they knew what they wrote about. It was only fair that he use these men's writings to assist him in explaining his thoughts when they fit. Nonetheless Robin fell silent, looked at Damon for a moment, worry on his face, and than turned his attention straight ahead as the dorms grew closer. He was silent, not wanting this time to end but wondering what Damon was thinking. He had no clue what to say and so he said nothing, only grabbed Damon's hand and held it as they continued walking forward.
